It was a good stay, excellent value and relaxing place. The staff were very professional, best. The location was comfortable and decent close to the airport. Moreover, it was right by restaurants and banking, the mall and Syracuse.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad.

The hotel had had an issue the night before with a water main that broke and set off the sprinklers in the hotel. Part of the hotel was without carpet and big fans running. Despite the inconvenience they made sure customers were comfortable. Appreciated that!
The beds were not as comfy as we are used to from the Hampton.

When we checked in we were told that the rugs in our room were still wet from being cleaned that afternoon. We were too tired to argue, but did not appreciate having to keep our shoes on in the room so we would not be walking on a wet rug! Not sure why we were given a room that still had a wet floor. The main hallway on the first floor had no carpet which had obviously been ripped up and there were shop vacs going into several rooms-maybe they had recently flooded, (don't think that was the case with our room as we were on the 3rd floor) but no explanation was given. The hallways were in total disrepair-no rugs but with some of the underlayment still stuck to the floor in patches. Did not look or seem inviting. The staff was friendly, but it seemed strange that they did not explain the mess. Probably would not stay there again-there are several hotels in close proximity.

It was comfortable. Reception and Kitchen staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous.
I paid a few dollars lower for Hampton INn at Riverside in Cortland for the sam or better facility than the one at Syracuse-Carrier Circle about 2 years ago. It was a little more expensive that my other experience at Hampton Inn in Cortland

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Syracuse because it was convenient to the highway. We were on a very long trip and needed a good nights sleep before heading out the next morning. We did not get our good nights sleep. There were teenaged children in the hallway outside our room talking in their outdoor voices after 10:30 pm. In the morning, at 5 am, there were small children playing in the hallway outside our room. We tried to cancel our return stay but unfortunately had booked through a booking agency that does not allow for cancellations. Management was very concerned about our issues but I have not had the opportunity to communicate with their highest authority yet.
That I won't likely have to stay there again.

We found an ear plug in one of the beds and you could hear everything that was going on in the next room, which I had not encountered on my previous stays.
